Becoming a liason to ISO Committee TC207: Environmental Management

ISO TC207 Committee Scope: Standardization in the field of environmental management to address environmental and climate impacts, including related social and economic aspects, in support of sustainable development.

Why should you join? The International Standards Organization creates standards in part through Committees. The success of these Committees depends on having diverse opinions represented, and in the case of net zero and its global importance, under-represented voices are crucial. Please follow these instructions to submit your application to become a Category C Liaison to TC207 (see below for more information about Liaison categories).

Please note: you must be affiliated with a non-profit organization in order to apply.

Steps to Join:

  1. Fill out this Application Form
  2. Send the completed application and your CV to TC207’s Committee Manager, Mrs. Christine Geraghty: cgeraghty@scc.ca. Your email should be very simple, and just needs to read “Please see my attached application and CV in order to join TC207 as a liaison. Thank you for your consideration.”
  3. The Committee Manager will circulate your CV to the committee who will vote on inclusion.
  4. Once the vote is passed, your organization (with you as its representative) can be brought into the committee relatively quickly (approximately 1-4 weeks).
  5. Please email shana.gallagher@bsigroup.com to let us know once your application has been successful!

Let us know if you need any support.
